Assistant General Manager
Position:          Assistant General Manager
Reports To:     General Manager
Schedule:        40+ Hours per week, includes weekends and holidays
FLSA Status:   Salaried - Exempt
 
Purpose of Position:  The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager to establish and maintain an extraordinary customer experience and unbeatable value.
 
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years proven management experience in a similar retail environment (high volume, large ticket) preferred
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience in developing and motivating staff; experience in HR procedures
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing a commissioned, retail sales force preferred 
  • Proven ability to lead teams to achieve results
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office applications, enterprise inventory and sales business systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
